I'd like to preface this by saying that it was in NO WAY my fault. The ground was slippery, and the railing on that bridge are too short. Anyways, what happened was while I was crossing a bridge, a family asked if I could take a group photo for them. I leaned back against the railing to fit them all in the frame, but I must of went too far back because I lost my balance and fell into the river! I'm not really good at swimming, so the best I could do was tread water as the current carried me down the river. Luckily, the city had just bought a new rescue helicopter and they were able to prepare the lifeline, lower the stretcher, and make the rescue. My wife is mad for "ruining our vacation" and a man from the fire department scolded me for "wasting first responder resources with my carelessness." Republican gridlock in Congress also prevented him from getting through the policies he wanted. Nevertheless, I still supported him, still volunteered and was still happy when he won his second term. The problem started about three weeks ago. I had a dream involving Barack, which is not uncommon for me, I was working with him and Michelle on their upcoming Netflix show. We were looking over demographics and how they related to various geographical locations. But this was a person I could get excited about, someone I could believe in. When it came time for his campaign for a second term it was largely the same. I had slightly soured on him. Granted, he was not the president I had hoped he would be but that was not his fault. I had built him up to be so huge in my head it was impossible for him to live up to expectations. Republican gridlock in Congress also prevented him from getting through the policies he wanted. Nevertheless, I still supported him, still volunteered and was still happy when he won his second term. The problem started about three weeks ago. I had a dream involving Barack, which is not uncommon for me, I was working with him and Michelle on their upcoming Netflix show. We were looking over demographics and how they related to various geographical locations. I'd like to preface this by saying that it was in NO WAY my fault. The ground was slippery, and the railing on that bridge are too short. Anyways, what happened was while I was crossing a bridge, a family asked if I could take a group photo for them. I leaned back against the railing to fit them all in the frame, but I must of went too far back because I lost my balance and fell into the river! I'm not really good at swimming, so the best I could do was tread water as the current carried me down the river. Luckily, the city had just bought a new rescue helicopter and they were able to prepare the lifeline, lower the stretcher, and make the rescue. My wife is mad for "ruining our vacation" and a man from the fire department scolded me for "wasting first responder resources with my carelessness."
